I came across this image today that I did ages ago for Little Shoppe of Horrors magazine. It was done totally in Manga Studio - pencils and inks. An early experiment using the application. Looking at it now I quite like it and thought it good enough for the blog. I ying and yang over Manga Studio and tend to use it for effects work more these days , inking an image originally with a pen. Does it make a difference? to me it does - I see myself falling into routines of inking with MS - chance becomes less of a factor and chance can make a drawing sometimes. It does have some great features though like perspective rulers , tones and sfx never mind lettering! But like anything it's a tool and not the answer to everything especially when it comes to getting your heart down on the page ...
