The Rescue hand coloured
To compliment the previous post here's The Rescue . There's not much to add - it's a fairly lowkey crashed spaceship drama with alienesque Koquillion the visual centre . I've always liked Vicki and this gave me a chance at a decent profile shot. Sandy the sand monster was requested by the editorial team and who could blame them?

it might have made you a nervous wreck, ade, but the end results are fab.
ReplyDeletepre-digital was a nightmare for me; i did my colours on the back of p/copies with marker pens, then spray mounted the page to board and added depth/texture with acrylic inks and watercolour.
had to live with MANY mistakes.
how i love the delete button.
Yes digital has it's definite advantages Shane! Whilst you're on I just got the first Lovecraft Anthology from Self Made Hero - *really* digging your work there .:)
